nTop week: Engineering design

Written by nTop

Published on April 15, 2021

A week of nTop happenings from April 26-29, 2021 with a keynote from Bradley Rothenberg, technical presentations on the fundamentals behind nTop, Q&A sessions, and nTop After Dark.

nTop was founded in 2015 and in the six years since we have been growing at a rapid pace. From a team of a handful to over 100 employees, nTop is now a force to be reckoned with.

Our flagship software, nTop, was launched in April 2019 with continued bi-weekly updates and releases giving our users access to more and more practical and (sometimes) astonishing features.

The software sits on three major pillars: unbreakable geometry, field-driven design, and reusable workflows allowing for engineers to design more seamlessly and with greater freedom taking into account all that additive and advanced manufacturing have to offer.

Since the launch of nTop, we have changed its name to match the name of our company so it is now referred to simply as nTop (or nTop for short). In that time, we’ve also filled our website, YouTube, and subscriber inboxes with an immense amount of content from webinars to nTop Live demos and blogs to case studies and more. Mostly, we have discussed and demonstrated the features and now we know it’s time to illustrate the value of these applications and explain more about the fundamental shift in the approach that we call: Engineering Design.

Enter nTop week: Engineering design

Over the course of a week, April 26 - April 29, we are hosting an event where we will reintroduce the first principles of nTop software and what those principles mean for design, engineering, and manufacturing.

Kicking off with a keynote from CEO, Brad Rothenberg. Presentations will outline how customers, partners, and academics use nTop to change how they approach Engineering Design. We will also host live demos and hear from the winners of our EDU Design Competition and, even more, give you the opportunity to ask questions directly to our product, simulation, and application engineering teams.

The week will also feature nTop After Dark which is a live, interactive demo session that includes partners, power users, and employees of nTop for a fun show and tell of experimental and bleeding-edge use of nTop.

To learn more about the agenda please register for nTop Week: Engineering Design. Oh and don’t forget to share with your friends and colleagues who might be interested.

nTop

nTop (formerly nTopology) was founded in 2015 with the belief that engineers’ ability to innovate shouldn’t be limited by their design software. Built on proprietary technologies that upend the constraints of traditional CAD software while integrating seamlessly into existing processes, nTop allows designers in every industry to create complex geometries, optimize instantaneously, and automate workflows to develop breakthrough 3D-printed parts in record time.
