Introducing the Design for Additive Manufacturing for Metal Series
An introduction to our month-long series on Metal DfAM that includes expert presentations, panel discussions and blogs.
nTopology is hosting another series of presentations, panels, and blogs on Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) focused on metal processes. The series of video presentations by experts in the field will be uploaded weekly, covering medical device design, lightweighting strategies with topology optimization and lattice structures, as well as the design of heat exchangers and general best practices for the manufacturing process, and metrology.
After the presentations we will follow with a weekly panel discussion between the presenters and nTopology application engineers.
Presenters include representatives from hardware partners including EOS, Renishaw and Velo3D, researchers from Penn State and University of Huddersfield, contract manufacturers such as Amplify Additive, Tangible Solutions and Holo, Inc. as well as Sierra Turbines and TEMISTh. We also pepper in a few of the nTopology team to give an overview of some of the work we are doing to help our customers design for advanced manufacturing processes.
Check out the presentations here. Feel free to reach out if there is something else you would like us to cover as we are always interested to hear what people are looking for and check out our videos here or on Youtube
